He Loves Us

I was considering a past conversation I had with a friend, after my learning that I had a bad cavity.  Shortly after the conversation, it occurred to me that I had spent too much time discussing my pain and that I had not spent sufficient time speaking of God's faithfulness during my suffering.  So, after years of shunning and avoiding countless tempting sweets, I needed a root canal.  Confused and in total disbelief, I lamented, groaned and bemoaned the fact.  Still, my tooth was damaged.  I was in terrible pain physically, but I was also feeling the great financial pain of having the unexpected expense of having to pay for a pricey dental procedure.

The good news about my condition was that God who loves me had both my condition and state of affairs all covered.  Before I even knew my tooth was damaged or that I would need a surgical procedure, God had made provision for my restoration through my insurance. While I was tempted to worry over whether or not I would be able to pay the cost for my tooth repair, God had already qualified me for the relief that I would come to need. He, through his compassion, love and mercy has provided for the renewal and well-being of all of mankind in this same way.  God sending Jesus, His Son, to cover the cost of our sin is the quintessential example of His love and the assurance of our opportunity to experience salvation and freedom through Jesus Christ!.

I am Liberated Lin, a woman who was liberated from the domination of sin and the hopelessness that it guaranteed me.  I am Liberated Lin, a daughter, woman, wife, mother, student, teacher, writer and evangelist, who has been made free by Jesus. I have made up my mind and determined in my heart that I will not go back into bondage.

Have you?

The Bible says in Romans 10:9 and 13,  “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23 King James Version
